Case Study: UNSTUCK

From author's conception to publication and release, I proofed the manuscript, formatted for print and e-book, wrote back blurb and ad copy, envisioned and implemented marketing campaign, conscripted and managed the Advance Reader program, planned and oversaw book release party.

I delivered this design as my initial concept.

Evolving Design Concept

After discussing with the author, we decided on a typography heavy design.

Final Cover Design

The author was looking for an "80s or90s" style vibe that also implemented colors from his other brand.

With that in mind, I delivered a sunny, cheerful gradient on a deep blue.

The shattering of the title represents the break-throughs that this book will, hopefully, impart upon reading.

BEYOND THE BOOK

Using short quotes from the manuscript, I created a series of social media images, videos, and merchandise that honor the original look and feel of the book design.

BOOK RELEASE PARTY

The book release party required two separate invites, one for EventBrite and one for PaperlessPost.
